Your friendly hosts at the ***B&B Gartenheim in Tramin, South Tyrol
The Gartenheim has always offered holidaymakers a sociable and relaxed 'home from home'. Over the past decades, senior bosses Erika and Oswald Überbacher have welcomed guests from all around the world – now their son Arno and his wife Hanna have taken over the helm.
Host Arno grew up in the Gartenheim and after completing his further education moved abroad for some years. As a former project manager in the field of international apple cultivars, he places great importance on the quality of fresh produce. He is also a dedicated wine enthusiast and connoisseur and enjoys sharing a good bottle – as well as interesting insider knowledge on the cultivation and production of fine wines – with his guests. Junior boss Hanna is a trained midwife and worked on the labour ward for many years. After deciding on a career change, Hanna started gaining experience in the tourism sector and helped out at the Gartenheim. She now runs reception and ensures the wellbeing of the guests.
Leni, Romy and Noemie are the youngest members of the family. They like helping grandma Erika look after the garden, the vegetable patch and herb beds. Granddad Oswald primarily works as an apple grower and lends a hand with technical tasks at the Gartenheim.
